My Type 11 (single panel) radiator is 6cm deep, does anyone know exactly how deep a Type 21 (double, but with single row of fins) is, please? Can't find any info online and need to know if there's much difference as might affect bedroom door opening. Thanks.

//A typical Type 21 radiator will have a depth of about 70mm //

Sorry, that image isn't loading, Etch. That's about what I reckon danny from the images I've seen, and if it's only that much deeper it will do fine. As I'm replacing it, I may as well get a bit more heat - seems the Type 21 gives out about 40% more!
Thanks, both.
I having lots of trouble with radiator it needs replaced. It is 40 years old. Plumber just away a bit of wall tile needs to go to accommodate new radiator
For a double Type 21............

Scroll down to the dimensions: (101mm if I've got the right one)

By depth, do you mean the distance between the front of the rad and the wall to which it is fixed? Or just the depth of the rad from front to back? It must be the former which matters?
