I want to freshen up & paint some of my garden pots/planters. Some are metal and have rusted, and some are plastic and I just don’t like the colour and want to brighten them. Is there an exterior paint that I could use on both the metal AND the plastic pots? Or do I need two different ones? And can anyone recommend a paint? TIA.

Oh excellent Barry! Do u know if they do it in paint on version? (With a brush) . Just bit worried about ending up getting spray paint everywhere lol
I really would go for the rattle tins, cheap, lots of colours and easy to use.
Put lots of newspaper down or use a large cardboard box to spray into.
eBay has a large selection of spray paints for wood/metal/plastic. I used a textured spray on my plastic pots and two years later they still look good. Very reasonably priced too.

Looks like old sheet down or paper it is then!! Thanks guys!!
If you go and see the Orange Bucketeers, the Ronswal Garden Shades collection can be painted onto Brick, Metal, Terracotta and Wood. They do some nice colours as well
