The light bulb on my Hotpoint FFA52P fridge-freezer wasn't lighting up so I bought a replacement. It seemed a simple task to just screw in the new bulb but it's not working. Is there an on-switch or something I've missed? Any clues, please.
Yes, a bit like the courtesy-light switch on a car door....it may be that the switch has become a bit sticky. Find it and try pushing it in-and-out several times and lubricate it.
Many thanks for your help. I can't see a button but there is a 'catch' just inside the fridge which might be the courtesy-light type switch so I'll give it a good sorting and see what transpires.
Yes, thank you, Atheist, the fridge is working, thank goodness.
