Went to step daughters house yesterday to fit a cat flap. They moved about a month ago and her two cats were frantic to get to the garden.

After 2 hours of sawing and drilling at ground level I can hardly walk today.

Maybe at 75 I should stop these activities. Todays gloomy thought is that I am one year younger than Bobby Ball, I know his son.

I was thinking more of a time machine.
You should have got a stool and sat by the door letting the cats in and out as they please... drinking the rum!
My sympathies, Nowadays i think its an achievement to put my leg into my trousers without falling over "Rock on Tommy"

Ah, Karma then!
Well at least you're not climbing ladders to clear the guttering like a chap on a medical programme I watched. Fell off the ladder onto his head.
I'm 70 in January, that's nothing in today's age, bit sadly I'm not one of those who has imbibed the elexir of youth.
COPD, chest infections Crohns, and lately dizzy spells, but looking on the bright side, erm, .........................
To me, the aches and pains that come after a job well done are easier to bear than the ones that come unbidden.
