I have a Rangemaster 110 cooker. The light bulb cover in the oven seems to be well and truly stuck. I've tried turning it anti-clockwise with no success. Anyone else had such problems?

Yes, solved it with WD 40, but even that took a few applications.
If it's the little dome-shaped glass cover, then it is probably threaded.
So, anti-clockwise is right.
The oven heat has "welded" it tight.
Wrap a small piece of sandpaper around it to give you a good grip, then ........ heave.

If no go, then a pair of "pump grips, and break it off.
Spares are easily obtained from Amazon or Rangemaster Spares.
The glass covers can be a real pain and come in two sorts, the bayonet type that push and twist so that lugs on the glass engage with slots on the holder, and the screw-in type.
At the same time as twisting it anti-clockwise, give it a bit of a wiggle while maintaining the turning action.

Thanks guys. These answers are really helpful because now I know I'm doing it right - it's just a matter of force. I will try all of your suggestions (breaking it last). Lesley x
pipdawg, if you break it make sure you have a pair of pliers to grip the bulb casing in order to twist it out(if a screw type)
Make sure your oven electricity supply is off first!!!!!
