What can you add to warm/hot water to make hard toe nails soft and "pliable"?

"The best way to soften hardened, thick toenails is to place them in a bowl, dishpan or bucket of warm water. Soak them for 10-30 minutes, depending on how hard they are. Add a mild soap or two tablespoons of Epsom salt to the warm water before soaking, if desired"

Don't bother. Just throw them away. They aren't much use for anything anyway.
Easier said than done O_G if you can't cut them.
I saves mine.

Thanks.I'll give it a try.
I bought this from amazon and it really does work, drop some on the end of your nail, wait a couple of minutes and they become really soft and cuttable. Designed for the spiked curled in edges but works where you put it

A good excuse for a long soak in the bath.
did any work ?
If you make your feet sweat they will be soft enough to cut.
