i have a baxi combi boiler, and the pressure was a little low - so i increased the pressure... and now the heating is a little tempremental (though the hot water works all the time), there is also a small leak direct from the boiler when the heating is on. Any ideas what i should do? all i can think of is releasing the pressure in the heaters, and there is a valve on the boiler that can release water....

You need to get any leaks fixed but in the meantime you can reduce the pressure to .5 bar cold to reduce the water loss. Check it frequently. You probably have air in the system so bleed the rads while keeping some pressure in the system.
