Pest Repellent Plug-Ins

Has anyone used any of these and are they any good at repelling flies?

I have one of these and can have my patio doors open all day and never get a fly or any insects come in. Just fresh air. They magnetically shut behind you after you've gone through them. My animals got used to them immediately, both cat and dog. Highly recommend them, and cheap as well.

I am waiting on my order of them from Amazon. Last year I had one in the living room and I must say - my flies were very limited - maybe the odd one or two.

I used them when my cat got fleas. I treated the cat and the house as best I could and then used a plug in. Never had a problem since.

I was thinking about getting one of those for the kitchen doorway, LB, but then flies can still come in through open windows.

You can get them for your windows as well Tiggs. There are lots of different sizes. Also a wide variation in prices so check that if you do order some. Just make sure they are really fine so nothing can get through. I love mine, no listening for the high pitched sound of a mozzie waiting to bite me.

Ah ok, nice one, LB. Will have a look plus may get some plug ins as well like Danny's, to keep ants away. Don't like using ant powder indoors.

I read about that trick of Mrs Hinch's years ago...its an old time country trick. But some say it doesn't work. It's worth trying....she says as she goes off the find some pennies...
