We were quoted £400 for removing the above plus some general garden waste...woody shrub stems, etc. We said thanks but no thanks.
We followed the link Buenchico gave us and, long story short, paid £130 for removal of the same stuff.
Pays to shop around, or ask advice here.

Wouldn’t inflict that sizeof bonfire on the neighbours, in fact wouldn’t inflict any size of bonfire on the neighbours.
Not if done late at night when windows are not open.

This time of year all windows are open, all day and all night. Even with windows shut the smell permeates.
I hope it hasn't been fly tipped.

They seemed to be a reputable fairly local company, big vehicle with the company name on, and assured us they have a big munching machine with a strong magnet which lift out all the nails and other non recyclable bits and pieces before the munched up wood is used elsewhere.
Sounds kosher
