Absolutely! Sing along with the chorus of this, and Jimmy Shand will be instantly replaced!

Of course there's a cure!

Just turn on your telly right now, to watch all this evening's Eurovision stuff. (I'm loving it!). It's guaranteed to totally numb your brain to anything else ;-)

Or, of course, you could just get your latest fix from Mr Shand, courtesy of Youtube ;-)

Well I had to go and listen to them both didn't I. Now I've got *2* earworms!
Chris I’d rather stick pins in my eyes that watch that pile of pap :0)
Just getting ready to vote Chris, been some crackers on tonight.
Hidden away among all the dross (which can still be worth watching, just for the 'silliness' factor), there are actually some excellent songs in the Eurovision Song Contest from time to time. Here's just one:

Sing the nation anthem. It will kill the earworm, but not replace it.
I've voted for Mahmood, with Soldi, Mamyalynne. (Aunty Beeb certainly presented us with an eclectic selection tonight. It was good to see some of the really early stuff there).
Split my votes.

Brotherhood of Man for nostalgia, then Conchita and Netta.

I had a good ear worm last week. It was the opening music for The Detectorists...a fine tune.
I couldn't decide where to use my two 'spare' votes, Mamya, so I didn't give them to anyone.

My guess though is that Abba, with Waterloo, will win by a country mile ;-)
. . . and I was right!
They have.
I only watched the Graham Norton program - surprised that Volare was not there.
Volare did feature on the 'come together ' show.
A brief excerpt from 'Nel blu, dipinto di blu' (a.k.a. 'Volare') was included in the 'Shine a Light' programme at 8pm. A slightly longer version was also included in the 'Come Together' programme which preceded it but the song wasn't included in the list of those which could be voted for by viewers.

That there Ryan chap came on Radio 2 at 2pm and I was just about to turn it off when he played Tilted by Christina and the Queens. Haven't heard it in a while so I turned the old volume up a tad (or a few tads) and let it play out before turning the radio off before the chap had chance to speak again. Can't get the song out of my napper, now.
This is from the 'Come Together' show itself:

Maybe you fell asleep, Tuvok?
;-)
Get An Ugly Girl to Marry You is my current earworm. Don't know why, haven't heard it played for years :(
