Are Dimmable Bulbs Okay To Use In Non Dimmable Fittings?

Replacing some spotlight type G10 LED bulbs. Asda only seem to do dimmable ones, but I'd like to get these if possible as they have a longer lifespan than others available. So is it safe to use dimmable in non dimmable fittings? Thanks for any help.

I don't see why not but they're usually more expensive.

As far as the dimmable bulb is concerned, it's simply fitted in a situation where the (notional) dimmer is permanently turned to maximum brightness. So, as Mamya's source indicates, there should be no problems in using such a bulb.
