Do You Wash The Pan Up?

You boil an egg on top of the stove in a pan. The egg doesn't crack. So effectively, you've put some boiling water in a pan with an egg.

Do you wash up the pan, after the egg has boiled?

I personally would rinse it or wipe it with a damp slightly soapy cloth but i've always thought, boiling water in it for 5 min is probably a better clean than a bit of fairy would achieve.

Boiling an egg for a few minutes would get rid of any nasty bacteria the egg shell much more than the dishwasher! So where the egg emerges from is dealt with!

Just a rinse and brush. This removes powder before it sets like rock. Limescale control.
