Who else has frog spawn? We’ve been hearing froggy serenades for over a week and I noticed the first blob on Friday now there’s 5. Every year I think the daft things have gone too early and risk getting frozen (which sometimes they do) but I still get a garden full of baby frogs hopping about in the summer. I am on the south coast, the Narcissus are starting to bloom joining the snowdrops and dwarf iris so Spring seems to be bursting out down here.

Lovely, Ratty.
It's certainly a spring like day, today. Brilliant sunshine here in Bedford.
Not heard any frogs around here, but I've heard the woodpeckers drumming in the woods, for the fortnight or so.
Had a look at my pond yesterday. Can’t see any. I brought a load down from Scotland last spring as frogs had failed to spawn previous years. Only toads. Had plenty of baby frogs in my lawn last summer.
