Washing 100% Polyester

I have a pair of 100 % polyester curtains that says dry clean only. In the past I have washed items that say dry clean with out any problems but this time not sure What experience have others had please

with your curtains? None. When I do things like this I look at what the curtains cost me and how much to replace them and how much i love them, then decide. In any case I do a delicates wash the first time.

I wash things on a 30 degree cycle if I'm worried about them.

I washed some polyester "dry clean only" curtains at 40 degrees and they were absolutely fine. The dry clean bit is a complete nonsense.
