Hi green fingered ABers out there - we've got quite a few ants' nests in our front garden lawn, and the brown patches are making the lawn look unsightly (and difficult to mow!) Does anyone know how I can treat these pesky things, please? Thanks, Chox.

Pour a wee bit of petrol in and set fire to it. Job done,
i find ant powder is quite effective in getting rid of them.

Try the humane method. Tell them that this is a private garden not wild countryside and that they have three days to shift before you commit anticide with loads and loads of chemical powder. Fair warning is no foul.
