Bathroom Carpet?

We have a small bathroom which has woollen carpeting, but we want to change it, to lose the wool carpet, but not lose the warmth of a carpet. So, anyone know of a non-woollen carpet we could have fitted, rather than cushion floor or tiles which would need primering to the concrete base/floor - or so we've been told by a possible fitter. Hi Zacs, Many Thanks for your answer and I'll look into the link you've given. Ta!
If you want to carpet a bathroom, the best material is polypropylene (available as carpet and carpet tiles)...it resists moisture, bleach, mould and is anti-bacterial, too. If you get (50cm X 50cm) tiles, they are easy to lay yourself and can be removed easily to deal with spills/stains. Have a look here, for example....

Try lino.
You can get it in tiles, or as a large fitted piece from a roll.

Marmoleum is the trade name of the product from Forbo. It's warm on naked feet, waterproof, forgiving of things being dropped on it, and available either as simple patterns or in great designs too, if you want a bespoke floor
Wow, trying to find prices on those maze-like websites is a bit of a trial.
I have Amtico easy clean, warm to feet much more hygienic than carpet !
You could have underfloor central heating in your bathroom then you could have any tiles you wanted. Of course you might not want to go to that expense.
I second what Minty's said. We have Amtico and it's much more hygienic than carpet and it's also warm underfoot.
I'll third amtico. I've got it in my kitchen/diner and bathroom. You could board out the concrete floor with plywood to make it warmer.
The one problem with Amtico is that you can see where the talcum powder's got to. :-)
Very strange British practice putting carpet in a bathroom...but around a loo - please no!
No man's aim is that good !! EEK ! ;0)
I have taught Mr T to sit.
Minty - I'm getting amtico too - should be within a week. I thought it was Karndean but I do believe they are similar.

can't wait
'Please sit, carpeted toilet'.
JJ, Amtico looks like tiles, Karndean doesn't, necessarily.
All men's aim is that good: until their prostate swells with pride.
After that they can choose to be stripped of masculinity and pee like a woman if they wish.
So 'Pointing Percy at the porcelain' is a thing of masculine pride is it?
Lol Tilly :0)
