Before storm Caroline wreaks havoc, thought I ought to do something with my callas. Will they be OK if I just bring them into the conservatory and cut off all the droopy bits? Or do I cut them right back? Is there anything else I need to do?

If these are the white Arum Lily, than they are about as hardy as any plant can be.....if you dropped an Atomic Bomb on an Arum Lily, it would still come up the next year !

No they arent the arum ones, Mikey. I've got loads of those in the garden. I remember being told that these needed frost protection when I bought them.
hope there's some useful/helpful info on here BM

Thanks both. I was hoping I wouldnt have to lift them and could bring them in. Looks like lifting is the order of the day. Which is a blummin nuisance.
Why not lift them and bring them in as planned but leave a small number of rhizomes in situe to test the're hardiness, where you are.
A thick layer of protective mulch, I think would be a good safety net though!
I think that link is about the US. I certainly leave my callas in all year round (they die back every year anyway). I am right in the South mind.
