Hi, we are just about to put flooring onto a concrete floor in an old (1840) cottage. The floor is slightly uneven....putting a straight piece of wood across it produces about a 1/4 inch gap under the piece of wood in the middle of the floor...so the floor is sagging slightly in the middle...it already has a fitted kitchen in it, how do we level this floor. Its having vinyl floor put in ready for rental. Thanks

Our conservatory had an uneven floor and when we had it retiled, the tiler put some sort of self levelling compound down first which had to dry for a few days before he laid the new tiles. Sorted the problem.
