I've been asked to knit a Hungry Caterpillar but am going spare trying to find some multi-coloured greenish wool for the body. Has anyone knitted this and can recommend a brand and shade, please?

Have a look on Amazon, they have a large variety of multi-coloured wool and am sure you will get a greenish one there.
I haven't used them, Juniper....but have you looked at World of Wool and Great Balls of Wool for ideas?..x
Surely Hobbycraft will have something suitable, won't they?

(Buy online or use the store finder here: http://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/storefinder ).

Alternatively you could use single colours for each segment, as here:
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-very-hungry-caterpillar-3
https://www.loveknitting.comm have some lovely knitting yarns in the colour you are looking for.

Many thanks everyone. Believe me, I've looked on every website known to man! The pattern I have knits the body in one which is why I wanted a tweedy mix but I guess I'm going to have to knit each bit separately so I can buy balls of different shades of green.
50 Shades of Green, Juniper :-)

That would make a great title for a novel, Tilly2 !!!!
It's been done, Juniper. :-(

Google "Ravelry: The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Katherine Dunhill" and then just under where it says "3-dimensional" click on "free Ravelry download". Good luck!
Thank you. I will look tomorrow evening. Very grateful to you
