The top of one of my radiators thermostat has been knocked off during vacuuming. The thermostat is a Drayton TRV4. The radiator still has thermostat base and pin attached. Can I just buy a new thermostat and clip/ screw the top back on or does the whole unit need to be replaced? Thank you

The following link shows the tops as spares so presumably they can be replaced.

Donny's link shows just what you need, Patrick.
Simply order the replacement head.

Thank you both. Appreciated.
If the knocked of head isn't broken you should be able to put it back on. Some heads just push on and others screw on. Yours is likely to be a push on as it was knocked off, unless it had come loose over time.
Is the head/collar actually broken ... the head can often be re-attached and scewed back on.
Check first before you buy a new one .

I will try and see if it can be put back on. Was unsure what the two silver pipes were on the edge inside of the top part were. So long as they are not something to be concerned about then will try and replace. Thank you.
I only suggested it because I have often been called out to the same situation.. the usual fault is people have inadvertantly unscrewed the head when adusting the trv. It then only takes a bang with the hoover to dislodge it.
Good luck .. it may save you £20
