Moving A Freezer, How Long Before I Can Plug It Back In?

Just shifted upright freezer. On its side for about 2- 3 hours max. When can I plug it back in, please? Thx

Shouldn't you turn it back upright first ?
Let it stand for at least 4 hours, 6 if you can.

Bit late now but when moving fridges/freezers you should always keep the top higher than the base, even if just slightly.
As for how long to let it stand, the longer the better.
But still no clue as to why it is left on it's side.

Well, you're a bit rude and mouthy aren't you. You did actually get a sensible answer about putting it upright first, and all you can do is be sarcastic.
We've just had a new freezer delivered and the instructions said to let it stand for 12 hours before switching on.
