The thing is how are you supposed to clean them? It says use soapy water but surely that isnt enough for kitchen worktops.? Up until now I have always used a bleach cleaner... Has anyone else got them and what do you use.? I have even written to the manufacturers and asked them.. all they did was send the the info they print in there information.! They mention three different things you musnt use if a cleaner has it in.? But cannot tell me which ones you can? I am confused.!

I just go over them with the washing up sponge.

Thankyou I have found all your info very helpful....so I guess I will just use soap and water from the washing up..
yes...perhaps using an anti-bacterial spray as well, if you feel the need to.
Something like this would be perfect for those surfaces....

Method do a cleaner for granite work tops, which my neighbour tells me is excellent. You can get their whole range of cleaning products in Homebase.
Yes that's the one. I don't think she uses it every day, as it is fairly expensive, but she says its very good.
Or one can use antibacterial washing up liquid.
I use an antibac cleaner then give it a going over with granite cleaner to get rid of smears. It's a PITA but I love it.
Why use an anti-bacterial cleaner? I think they make people ill.
Don't think they make me ill.
You won't till you are.
Do not let acidic liquids near them including citric acid from oranges, lemons, limes etc. White wine should be licked up immediately. Once a week with warm detergent solution should suffice. If they are the gloss ones you will have more work to do dusting and polishing smear marks than anything else when the sun comes back out.
You could always cover them with linoleum or similar...
Shoota LOL. Clingfilm?
