I reckon that you've only covered your TV screen in steam to help you imagine all those hunky actors in a sauna, Kate ;-)
Kate. That Chris is a cheeky wee bison isn't he ? :')
Steam clean the telly?

Are you mad?
Hi, Kate.......how was Ireland?.....Or have I missed it.....wondered about you when most places were flooding.....x
I really wouldn't steam clean my TV screen ...perhaps OK if it's glass, but not if it's plastic.
I just use a damp micro fibre cloth on my telly screen. I wouldn't use a steam cleaner.
Perhaps I should have shown the restraint that gingejbee and Tilly showed.

Bear in mind that steam is water, and a TV is electrical. However damage to the delicate screen was my main worry.
I would be extremely careful of using a steam cleaner anywhere near an electrical product.
Maybe it was just a waft of the old steam wand, and maybe that served the purpose of removing temporarily the static that holds dust on such items. But in future I wouldn't risk it Kate - use a microfibre cloth or an ordinary duster with a few drop (literally) of water squeezed through. That'll do the same job without the risk.
