Is there an equivelent fan heater to the dyson without the huge dyson price tag?

Yes...you can get copy/fake versions online at a fraction of the price.
Trouble is...they often burst into flames.

Dyson have been very careful (as they always are with their products) to secure worldwide patents in order to ensure that nobody else can make very similar products.
