I would like to grow some very tall sunflowers for my grandchildren, does anyone have any suggestions as to the best seed to use and the best growing method.

Sunflowers grow best when they are unpampered! Buy the seeds marked 'Tall single" pop them in any patch of earth about an inch down and a couple of feet apart, then leave understurbed. Water occasinally in very dry weather and they will grow to 2-3m with a single flower.
