Broken Patio Door Handle.

I have just broken the patio door handle, i have managed to lock the door but obviously it needs sorting asap. I have been looking for replacements on the internet and just wondered if all patio door handles are a standard size and fit? I will have no problems fitting it once i buy the correct handle. It's the type you have to lift the handle up to lock.

Can anyone advise please?

Had a similar problem last month and got a new handle (pair) from HANDLESTORE.COM - cost me about £30 for the pair, rather than the £70+ I was qouted for someone to come and fix it ! Just take a note of all the dimensions that are mentioned on their website and I'm sure you will find what you want. Please keep us posted. Good luck.

Yes, they are usually interchangeable. I've often replaced the awful white plastic ones with something better looking.

Thanks guys it is all sorted now. I bought a replacement from B&Q for £18 and it only took 10 mins to fit.
