Fan Heater

Has anyone used the Dyson AM05 fan heater and if so, how good is it. Obviously looking to see how the cooling function works right now, but I'd also like to know the effectiveness of the heating function.

The fan heater works quite wonderfully. I don't own one myself but I got to use it when I visited a friend recently. I helped him make the vid in the link and you can also check out his written review here: http://www.dysonfanreview.com.
In the video he talks about the temp settings (and shows some examples) as well as a few other stats. The temp range on the fan is ridiculous ranging from 32 degrees to 99!
During my stay I got to use both the cool and the heater feature. It was hot when I first got there but got pretty cold at about half my stay. I must say the fan did quite well as a heater. It is an area heater and not a room heater technically but, it was strong enough to knock out the little chill that was in the air of his apartment pretty swiftly and made the area around the couch extra cozy so its a pretty nice fan and heater. I wouldn't get one myself because I can't afford it, but if I could I sure would.
