Does anyone know the rough cost of laying a turfed lawn ,approx size is 8mtrs x 11mtrs.
The cost would include the removal of the old lawn, leveling and preperation of the ground and then laying a mid range turf.
I'm looking to have this done and hope that someone has had something similar done .

The area would be Essex ,near Romford.
I am a way away from you so can't help but at lest other posters now know :)
I had 28 sq.mtrs. of lawn replaced in April. The job entailed --- lifting and removing existing lawn: digging over remaining soil, and rake to level: covering area with new top soil: laying 28 sq. mtrs. of turf: leaving the site clean & tidy.
This was carried out by a well recognised landcape gardener that I have used previously.
Total cost £540.
Pro rata, to carry out similar work to a lawn of 88 sq. mtrs. the cost would be approx. £1600 - £1700.
Unfortunately for you Raybush, this work was carried out in Lancashire.
What the cost would be in Essex, I wouldn't like to guess.
Hope this helps.
