Earlier this evening, my son was showing me an insect that is rife on his hydrangeas. I tried to google to identify it but with no luck. It's about 3/8" long, white and flat. It's not noticeably doing any harm but I've never seen anything like it before. Can anyone help identify it please?
No, it's nothing like a lygus bug. You can't see legs, it looks like a piece of flat white paper! A little bit in the front was fluttering about - whether that was a 'head' moving about, I'm not sure.
