Can anyone recommend a lawn mower suitable for a small but very steep lawn, preferably under 100.

Thanks.

RIP old mower.

A hover, pick a smallish one and you can look for a bargain.

Thanks for that newclifan - it's given me a starting point for shopping round.
If you have got a steep lawn, do not go for a petrol 4 stroke engine mower. as you go up and down the lawn the main bearings will be starved of oil. Choose either an electric or 2 stroke petrol mower. As your budget is 100 then I suggest an electric mower.

Hi Ethel,

Just wanted to know if you got one and how you are getting on with it.

Thanks for your interest, it's warmed my *******!

I settled on a small electric hover for 75 (elsewhere it was 90) with a collection box.

It works best on the bank without the box - surprisingly easy - and it's great on the flat with the box.

Problem is - the more I mow, the more often it needs doing!

Thanks again to all who replied
