why so many ants nest this year ?..never seen anything like it before, even my water logged lawn has them , the 1st time in 25+ years.You would of thought they wouldnt have survived with all this rain.
Even the fields behind me have some huge nests , my mother in laws bungalow is infested with them 20-30 nests on her lawn...

My daughters garden is the same 20 or more nests I think it is the damp but mild weather that encourages them , the ground is so soft they can dig huge nests .

Same here! With any luck you may get some green woodpeckers on your lawn, they LOVE ants!

You should buy some PENNY ROYAL plants its like mint but you cannot eat it the ants hate the smell and pack there bags and live somewere else good luck.
