Hello everyone,

Can anyone tell me how to clean the glass on the inside of my oven!! It has brown spots on it and they are glued on! Also how do you remove the residue left behind after taking stickers off walls etc that your kids have stuck up!! I would be grateful for any suggestions. Heading out now but I shall return! Thanks

I use spray on Mr Muscle oven cleaner, works a treat.
I use brillo wire wool on the glass of my oven. It leaves no marks.
The kids stickers may be more of a problem. Is it wallpaper or painted surface?
for the stickers try a small amount of lighter fuel, let it soak into the sticker then gently peel the sticker off. test the wall FIRST though in an unnoticeable area, in case it affects the decoration. hope this helps.
mandy if you read OP I think they have already removed the stickers.
ooops, sorry, didnt read it properly, was watching emmerdale and reading this, i seem to have a problem multi tasking tonite !

Some of the stickers were on the fridge and some on the kids doors which are painted with gloss paint.
I have Brillo pads was worried in case they scratched the glass but I will give them a try thanks.
I had a wonderful flash of imagination when I saw the suggestion to use lighter fuel.

Woof, and the stickers are gone.

Let's hope only the stickers are gone and not the fridge with it!!
Mr. Muscle oven cleaner is good. After wiping off white streaks may remain. Shake some vinegar or lemon juice on a damp cloth and wipe over all surfaces. Always worked for me when cleaning out Army married quarters on postings.

'Sticky Stuff Remover' is great for removing the residue on gloss paint and the fridge. (it's a citrus oil, so you wouldn't want to use it on emulsion paint, for example). Get it at your local discount hardware corner shop. Lakeland have it too, but at a higher price. Handy to have around the house.
I find brillo pads on a warm oven door works for me and you can buy a product called sticky stuff remover from diy stores or in most cases strangely dura glit works.
A dishwasher tablet used as a scouring pad seems to work, but use marigolds or your fingerprints come off as well.
