Removing 'ripple' paint

My bathroom has this plastic ripple paint on the ceiling (no it's not artex as I put it on myself years ago).

It has cracked in places which is impossible to fill and sand, due to the ripple effect.  I would like to remove it and I'm sure I saw a product some time ago that did this.  However, my local DIY store has none and naturally looked at me as if I was mad when I enquired as to it's whereabouts.

Anyone seen it - or better still - used it?

i had to remove something like it a few years ago and used a steamer and scraper to get it off. You can hire them or buy one, Black and Decker make them I think.
