I'm planning to construct a small area of decking 3m X 2m to place a garden seat on. I am considering to just support it on to some concrete blocks bedded into the garden then build the frame on top of them instead of setting some posts in concrete. Do you think this would be ok to construct it, thanks in advance.

i just replaced my patio with decking about 20 odd m and i would advise taking your time and doing it properly! buy blue circle potcrete (3 a post). it sets rapid and will give u a solid found. take a bit of extra time and money and get it spot on! good luck.

Hello darling

I personally would not build up from some bricks because i am not too sure that would be stable ,and i would not want any one hurt ! If you go on www.deckingmadeeasy.com this should help you choose what is really best for you !
