Tarmac

I have just phoned a company for a quote for a tarmac drive - he told me the cost of tarmac has shot through the roof.
Anyone know if this true?

His firm buy 100's of tonnes a week. He said that it's gone up £15 a tonne for them. Probably much more for smaller firms.

I don't know....I can let you know later. I don't want to ring him again, he's knee deep in tarmac :-) He'll be home between 4 and 5..I'll get him to pop on here.

Last two years, not much difference to his knowledge. He said it's gone up since April.

I am in my sixties and when I think back that was one of my worse decisions I made to have a tarmac drive, the block paving I have is superb,go and knock on a few doors and ask your neighbours how they have got on with who did there work you will be surprised how that information will help you
