My old toilet went on a very long flush cycle -it was easy to fix as i just pulled the cable for the flush button
However, i fitted new toilet back to wall and i have same long flush cycle -trouble is it has a concealed cistern - and there doesn't seem to be a fix for it
Any ideas?

Set a time when the whole family go one after the other, then only one big flush is needed!
have you got one button on the flush or two?

Probably needs a new Syphon kit or washer.

EDDIE51 -loo takes a long time for the cistern to refill
Check the type of fill valve .. if an old-style ballcock, check restrictor (removeable) is not blocked by crud .. or change to larger restrictor.

One slight possibility ............ is the cistern mains fed or gravity (tank in roof).
It's a bigger restrictor for gravity (more water, less pressure). It may have the wrong one fitted.
Question Author
It is mains fed and is 99% similar to this
