Removing furniture leg marks

Having a little move around of furniture and where bed and chest of drawers were there are big dents in carpet from furniture legs...anyone know how to bring the carpet back to life from being squashed?! Tried hoovering but doesnt do much...

try putting an ice cube on every dent. Leave it to melt and dry on it's own. Should bring the pile up a treat!!

Thankyou grange - have a freezer full of icecubes at the moment so will give it a go!
Assuming you can get this fixed, for the future put the saucer type things under furniture legs to reduce the indentations formed.
As a ex carpet fitter try getting a very wet towel and a hot iron put the cloth over the mark and using the iron press down on the mark (don't leave it standing in one spot keep it moving) take the towel off and using a stiff hand brush rub the mark for a short while I have not known this fail.
I've heard the ice cube trick, but I've never tried it.
