Daughter has a metal paperweight that's been sprayed with some sort of aerosol paint.  Have soaked it overnight in Homebase's paint stripper.  That just removed the top layer of varnish.  The paint hasn't shifted apart from slight discolouring.  If it's car paint or someething like Hammerite what would get it off.  Or is it an electric drill & wire cup brush?
