Hello. Our freezer shows a red light, fast freeze etc don't work and there is no noise. Everything is defrosting
Is it worth getting an engineer to look at it or better to just get a new one?
Thank you

If you open an insurance policy for one year, they will charge around £120 + VAT and attend for free (possibly PLUS parts)
If you think the Fridge/Freezer is worth it .. try that.
If it's just a freezer .. and more than 4-5 years old .. I don't.

Thank you. The contents are insured but not the freezer, I think a new one is the best option, I need a freezer
If the Freezer is Old then it's best to replace it rather than throw good money on repairs which could be costly.
Brand new Freezer with a Guarantee would be best option.
Buy a new one; look for a self-defroster (Hoover). Mine sounds like Tardis when it defrosts but saves me a lot of hassle.
