All depends on the number of trees and the species of trees growing there.
I would think whatever you are prepared and can afford to pay for it. whatever the asking price is would not put me off making my affordable offer.

Their little green signs seem to pop up by roadsides everywhere. Don't know anything about them, but beware overpaying versus average market rates.
I know someone who was looking into buying woodland as a long term investment.

Something to do with timber.

They also said that (at the time so don't know about now) that it was IHT free.
