Everyone laughed when my late OH said this, use the cheapest non-bio washing powder, water it in, it works though, it can be brushed away a couple of days later, as we discovered after he died. Sorry love.

Thanks folks, just watched a youtube where soda crystals are used, seemed quite effective.
