I have had my home refurbished including new wiring work and new fuse box. The electricians have not labelled the fuse box. Is this safe?

the lack of labels will not make it unsafe, just inconvenient, It would be a straightforward job to label then yourself, just time consuming and must do it with care, just a process of elimination.
Call them back to do it. It'll be an easy job for them. It wouldn't be unsafe though.
They should come back and do it for you, it should have been labelled when it was installed.
Doesn't make any sense not labelling the circuits. He might just have overlooked it. I'm sure he'll come back and do it.

Not unsafe in itself, but could get silly if you're trying to isolate a circuit, and you can't identify it.
Not that difficult. If the lights go off, then that's the lighting circuit. If your TV goes off then that the power ring. etc.. Got to be careful though, forever hearing of all those unlabelled consumer units blowing the house up ;-)

Thanks for all your answers. I am just surprised that it is lawful to leave a fuse box like this.
Just ring him and ask him to come back.
