I'm sure that you can with a cold chisel, hammer, and protection. But you'd need to repair the bricks underneath by putting something on them anyway. Why not get a builder (oh right, sorry, fantasize about getting a builder willing to actually put in a quote despite all expectations) to cover it all with something you do like ?

To be honest, mayday, I wouldn't even attempt it. Even if the render is loose in places, some of it will be too good, and taking it off will also take some of the brick face with it.

People get confused about this finish. Is it really pebble, or just roughcast?

its defo little pebble
Ok. The pebbles are embedded in a normal render. They will come off easily, but the render is the problem.

Terribly dated type of finish, isn't it? I think I would paint over it.
I could be worse. It could be stone cladding! (However, that may be easier to remove....I don't know)
