gas central heating boiler leaking

We heve a Worcester Bosch 280 boiler that is leaking and the pressure has risen quite a lot.,the engineer can't come to fix for 4 days!!!
We are concerned about the rising pressure ,what can we do ..any help is appreciated.. Thanks in advance

the pressure rising doesn't tie up with you having a leak, unless you mean it is leaking out of the back of the boiler via the overflow pipework?

if this is the case then its probably down to your expansion vessel which either needs re-pressurising or replacing.

don't panic anyway because the boiler will be fitted with a pressure relief valve which will perate if the pressure gets too high.
