Filling the gap between granite and stone wall

Does anyone have any suggestions for what to use, and how to fill the space between a granite worktop which sits close to a millstone grit wall ? The granite has been scribed to follow the line of the wall which wanders in and out, but i feel it needs filling in so as to make it look better and stop small bits falling behind. Below the granite is a wood panel so no access.

Please and thanks..

What about a sealant of the type used for door and window surrounds? Available in brown, black, grey, you should be able to use one that doesn't look too out of place against the granite or the wall.
I agree with the use of selant but reckon you should use silicone sealant in that application - not decorators' filler.
I would suggest as being a good non-obtrusive colour in that application.
