My plastic sink bowl is looking very grubby, I have used numerous cleaning products on it and just can't get it clean.

I have even left bleach soaking in it overnight and it still doesn't leave it clean.
I don't know if it's just at the end of sink life, the drainer still comes up clean just not the bottom of the bowl .

Any suggestions much appreciated.

i give mine a good scrub with cif
barkeepers friend is excellent but can be difficult to get hold of these days.
do you mean a washing up bowl rather than the sink if so I would just nip down to the nearest discount store and treat myself to a new one.... otherwise try soaking in boiling water and vanish powder
I hate plastic sink bowls !! lol lol
If I could do you tube from work there is a little tune I'd put on for Redman... he hates bowls I insist we have them... I win!!!!! if he goes on about it I sing 'heres to you' the Joan Baez song... he gives up then
Plastic bowls or any other plastic cooking/cleaning item become scratched and dull after a while, there is nothing to do but buy a new one.
Soak a piece of cloth entirely into a cup or bowl of vinegar and use it to scrub the stains. Gently apply pressure on the cloth but do not rub too hard. Work in a circular motion to avoid creating streaks on the surface, Never rub up and down. If vinegar does not dissolve stains entirely, apply lemon juice on the cloth and rub it on the plastic bathtub surface.

For hard to remove stains, allow the cloth soaked in vinegar or lemon juice to sit on the stain for about 15 minutes. Rub the stains off or use a brush to scrub the stain away. Rinse with water afterwards.

There's something called Goo Gone which works very well too.

Thanks folks and it is the actual bottom of the sink not a plastic washing up bowl, I think it's probably time to invest in a new one.
mallyh even with all the new cleaners on the market you can't beat cif,and a blast from the past I found some scourer vim on sale the other week, the excitement ! I need to get out more lol
Still unsure if you mean a washing up bowl or the sink itself.
Sorry posts crossed. Even a plastic sink will scratch eventually, NEVER just scoring powder (Vim) on any plastic item it is certain to scratch the surface. Even CIF will damage a plastic sink. use only the cleaners specifically made for plastic ware.
