Panasonic microwave combi ? repair feasible

Yesterday when I tried to start the microwave sparks came from front panel (I think) The clock and timer still work but the oven itself does not. Is it likely it can be repaired at reasonable cost?. It could be 5 years old, as new in appearance with only light use. So far not found local repairer to advise Panasonic offered only 20-30 miles away!

I wouldn't take a chance. Get a new one. If you do get it repaired, make sure the repairer is reputable - you don't want microwaves leaking out.

Thanks it will probably come to that but having had to buy a new TV last week - hoping to save this time and it still looks like new! Would NEVER use other than ercommended qualified repairer
