I have two large multiflowered ramblersin my garden, large panicles of very small white roses they are thornless, I guess it is either Kiftsgate or Rambling rector because they are so rampant I know one has thorns and the other one doesnt can't remember which though

Kiftsgate is thorny.
Rambling Rector has a few thorns .. but not totally thorn-free.
Kiftsgate generally has a single petal row .. Rector has double .. otherwise very similar.

this one is completely thornless, may be a seedling of rector with a bit of something else in the parentage Double petal row though

Thanks that was helpful....now all I need to do is persuade it to mate with Zephirine Drouhin to get a thornless rampant pink one...
