How do i prune my tree wisteria so that it is both neat & tidy yet flowers lushly thru the season? It is rather wild at the moment.

Assuming your wisteria is now trained and you dont want it to extend any further, trim back all of the new long whippy growth now, leaving 6" or so. During the winter when the leaves have dropped, trim this new growth back to 2 buds and 'hopefully' your plant should develope plenty of flowers over the years.
