Hi green fingered ABers out there .... wonder if someone can answer a couple of questions, please. We've just come back from a week in France and I saw a wonderful rose bush, the name of the rose was "Sagittarius". Does anyone know if you can bring garden plants back to England from Europe? And also - does anyone know of this particular rose, please? Have googled it, without any luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Chox.

Haven't brought back plants but have brought back seeds before. Some information here.

For many years we've been bringing plants back from France and Belgium and most of the flower shops around us are served by Dutch lorries. Whether things will change when we leave the EU I'm not sure.

Many thanks folks - have just checked a French Rose supplier (who send to England - I think!) and they do have a rose of this name, but the colour is completely different - a bright pink as opposed to the one that I saw in the florist (in Brittany) which was a greyish dusky pink (gorgeous!). Anyway, it's useless buying anything now, so will check this website again in October. but thanks for all your helpful advice, much appreciated, best wishes, Chox.
what did the rose look like? colour? scent? rose form? (single or double) plant form (climber big little and so on)
